Working with AI coding agents

Aurora ships guidelines and a skill for Laravel Boost, so coding agents know how to build blocks, layouts and settings in an Aurora project. Run php artisan boost:install and they're picked up with the rest.

Development

~ Terminal
$ composer dev # server, queue, logs and Vite
$ npm run build # the website's assets and Aurora's prebuilt admin assets
$ php artisan test --parallel # the test suite, in parallel (ParaTest)
$ vendor/bin/pint --dirty              # code style

The test suite (PHPUnit) covers permissions on every surface, the publishing workflow and unpublished changes, the visual editor (every block can be inserted, edited and saved), the public website, the APIs and their scopes, MCP tools, media, forms, translations and settings. Tests never reach the network: a request that isn't faked fails.
